Robotics Club, NITW
The Robotics Club was founded in the academic year 2019–20 with the sole purpose of Introducing the field of Robotics to NITW, encourage and guide Robotics enthusiasts to pursue it as a career option and create it into a haven for all budding Roboticist looking for a community of like minded enthusiasts. We attempt to do this by conducting workshops and training sessions and applying the learned skills by competing in Robotics contests held across India each year.
As part of the event, Freshers will be involved in some simple robotics-related activities. The activities will attract students towards robotics, help amplify their enthusiasm and enhance their knowledge in the robotics field
To develop practical knowledge and enhance the participation of students in the field of robotics, the club will organize a competition in which participants will construct line follower robots and will be made to compete amongst themselves in a lap-based race.
A workshop dedicated to research will be conducted by the Robotics Club. Everything regarding the research field, the opportunities and its significance will be discussed.
A guest from a reputed robotics firm will be invited by the robotics club to deliver a lecture and illuminate passionate minds and interact with aspiring students. April 2023
